How do I compare savings accounts?
Set your balance and how long you'll save, then sort by non-promotional rate, our rating or total savings. Each card shows what you'd have at the end of your savings period, so you can compare accounts on one number.
How are GIC rates listed?
GIC rates come from each institution's own published rate page, and an automated job re-reads those pages every night and updates any rate that has moved. The page shows the date of the last check.
How do I choose a broker?
The brokers page ranks online brokers by welcome bonus for the amount you plan to fund, and lets you filter by free stock trading, free ETF trading, fractional shares and crypto. Sort by highest bonus, highest rated or name.
