Cash back and rebates

How does FinlyWealth track my application for cash back?

Open the offer from FinlyWealth while signed in and finish the application in the same browser. We log the visit and link it to your account with a cookie. Ad blockers, private browsing, switching devices and other cash back sites can break that link.

Your cash back starts the moment you open an offer from FinlyWealth. While you're signed in, we log that click as a tracked visit and link it to your account using a . When the bank or store reports your approval back to us, the cash back appears in your account.

How to make sure your application is tracked

  1. Sign in to FinlyWealth

We log visits made while you're signed in.

  2. Turn off anything that can interfere

Pause ad blockers and any coupon or cash back extensions, and use a normal (not private) browser window.

  3. Open the offer from FinlyWealth

Use the offer's button on our site. Don't go to the bank's site directly.

  4. Finish in the same browser, in one sitting

Complete the whole application on the same device, in the same browser you clicked from, without closing it partway through.

  5. Check that the visit was logged

Open Tracked Visits in your account. Your visit is listed there with a tracking ID.

What can break tracking

  • Ad blockers, VPNs and private (incognito) browsing, because tracking relies on browser cookies.
  • Coupon or other cash back extensions. They often stop the merchant from recording your visit.
  • Switching devices, or closing the browser partway through the application.
  • Reopening the bank's or store's site directly, or arriving later through another site, instead of finishing from the link you clicked.
