You can delete your account yourself at any time. Read what it does first, because it cannot be undone.
What happens when you delete
- Your personal information is permanently erased and your access is removed.
- Any bank connections are revoked and any paid subscription is cancelled, so you are never charged again. The data from those connections is deleted.
- Your cash-back records are anonymized and retained. Our privacy policy says rebate and payout records are kept for 7 years to meet tax and books-and-records obligations.
- Any unpaid balances are forfeited.
- We also keep a one-way hash of your email address and phone number. It is used only to recognize a returning person, so that bans cannot be evaded and once-per-person trials and offers cannot be claimed twice. Device signals are kept too, to prevent fraud.
- We ask our email marketing provider and our analytics provider to delete the information they hold about you.
How to delete your account
Open your Account page
Scroll to the bottom, where it says Want to leave?, and select Delete your account.
Type DELETE to confirm
In the Delete account window, type DELETE in the box, then select Delete account. The button stays off until the word matches. Select Cancel to back out.
If it does not go through
If a bank connection or a subscription cannot be reached, the deletion is refused instead of leaving a live link or a charge behind. Nothing is lost, so try again in a little while, or contact support.
You can also ask our Privacy Officer to delete your account. See What information does FinlyWealth keep, and why?.
