World Elite Mastercards are known for their premium travel perks, and another notable inclusion on select cards is free first checked bags, rewarding the primary cardholder and up to 8 travel companions complimentary checked luggage on their flight.
Participating World Elite Mastercards include the BMO VIPorter World Elite Mastercard (allowing for 1 complimentary checked bag and 1 complimentary carry-on bag for all 9 travellers) and the WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard (with 1 checked bag per traveller).
In case you didn’t know, companion vouchers allow cardholders to purchase a companion ticket for an accompanying traveller at a reduced rate.
You can also expect to find companion voucher opportunities on World Elite Mastercards like the BMO VIPorter World Elite Mastercard and the WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard.
Typically, priority travel perks offer a package of trip-oriented advantages like online priority check-in, extra baggage redemptions, Airport Security Fast Track, and early boarding (depending on the card).
There are three World Elite Mastercards that offer a few priority travel perks, both the Neo Cathay World Elite Mastercard and the Neo Cathay World Elite Mastercard Secured, plus the BMO VIPorter World Elite Mastercard.
World Elite Mastercards take all of the benefits of Standard and World Mastercards and tack on a few of their own, specifically luxury travel perks like lounge access, companion vouchers, and rare roadside assistance.
