Rebates are sent via Interac e-Transfer to the email on your Finly profile. Once your sign-up is verified, payments are typically processed within 10 days.
The financial institution reports the transaction back to us within a few days to a few weeks, depending on their reporting cadence. You can track the status from your Finly account.
Switching devices mid-application, using a VPN, ad blocker, or incognito mode can break our tracking cookies. Complete the application on a single device in one session for a smooth experience.
Usually, if it's a product you don't have yet. With most banks, including Scotiabank, BMO, RBC and TD, you only need to be new to the product, not the bank, so another card or a chequing account with them doesn't stop you. There's no rebate on a product you already hold, and this offer's terms can add conditions.

To qualify for the $175 bonus (the “Offer”), you must:
Open a new Preferred Package for Students and Youth (an “Eligible Account”) between November 2, 2026 and February 28, 2027; and
Complete any two of the following activities in your Eligible Account within 60 days of Eligible Account opening:
Set up and receive at least 1 eligible♢♢ automated and recurring direct deposit, which will recur monthly for a minimum of three (3) consecutive months, or
Set up and make at least one (1) eligible♢♢ recurring pre-authorized transaction, which will recur monthly for a minimum of three (3) consecutive months, or
