The Rogers Red World Legend™ Mastercard is Rogers Bank’s new premium travel card aimed primarily at Rogers customers who spend a lot and want simple, flat cash back. Its biggest strengths are the 2% cash back on all purchases worldwide and no foreign transaction fees, which is a rare combination in Canada. However, the $495 annual fee is very high for a card that mainly offers flat cash back and lifestyle perks tied to Rogers services. For most people, the value will only make sense if you’re already deep in the Rogers ecosystem and can fully use the travel perks, entertainment credit, and redemption bonus on Rogers purchases.

The Rogers Red World Elite Mastercard earns its place as both one of the best no-annual-fee credit cards in Canada and one of the top credit cards in Canada overall. This card earns you impressive cashback rates on USD and non-USD purchases, especially when you have a qualifying Rogers, Fido, Comwave or Shaw account. You can earn even more cashback when you redeem your rewards towards eligible service purchases. Additionally, the Rogers Red World Elite Mastercard offers some valuable insurance, including trip interruption and trip cancellation insurance, plus travel medical insurance. Pair that with a Dragon Pass membership and no-cost roaming, and you've got yourself an extraordinary no-fee contender.
The catch? This card comes with some high annual income requirements and an annual spending cap. To learn more, read our Rogers Red World Elite Mastercard Review.
If you have a lower annual income, you can always apply for the Rogers Red Mastercard instead. Also available for no annual fee, this card provides similar cashback rates on non-USD purchases, especially if you have a qualifying Rogers, Fido, Comwave or Shaw service, plus a slightly lower cashback rate on USD purchases. Customers also receive extra cashback when they redeem their rewards towards eligible service purchases. Unlike the Rogers Red World Elite Mastercard, however, the Rogers Red Mastercard doesn't include any coverage and only offers no cost roaming as a benefit. It also has a lower spending cap. When you reach this cap, the earn rate drops.
Still, with no annual income requirements, this alternative is a lot easier to qualify for. Read more in our Rogers Red Mastercard Review.
The best mid-tier card for Rogers customers is the Rogers Red World Mastercard. This no-fee contender earns solid cashback on eligible USD purchases, plus generous cash back on all other purchases, especially if your have a qualifying Rogers, Fido, Shaw or Comwave service and redeem your earnings towards eligible service purchases. The coverage is basic, but applicants can still expect Roam Like Home days with an eligible mobile plan. With no annual income requirements, it's also much more accessible, but applicants should still note the annual spending cap. Get all the details in our Rogers Red World Mastercard Review.
While the Rogers Red World Legend Mastercard earns commendable cash back on all purchases, especially for clients who redeem their earnings towards service purchases, the real pull is this contender's perks. On top of extensive insurance coverage, cardholders also receive benefits like no foreign transaction fees, complimentary airport lounge access, and an entertainment credit. Note, however, that you'll need to pay a hefty annual fee and meet high income requirements to qualify. Luckily though, this card avoids annual spending caps. Discover more in our Rogers Red World Legend Mastercard Review.

A few of the cards are also good for those who shop frequently in USD, with unique cashback earning opportunities on USD purchases.
Overall, most of the Rogers credit cards complement budget-conscious spenders, since the majority of them avoid any annual fees. For the best reward value, however, you'll want to meet the high income requirements of the Rogers Red World Elite Mastercard.
